Granutools at The Battery Show North America 2026  - October 12–15, 2026

Granutools will be at The Battery Show North America 2026 in Detroit, October 12–15, booth 6235. Stéphane Caubergh will be there with three instruments running live: GranuDrum, GranuPack and GranuCharge At Line.

Battery materials are only as reliable as the powders they are made from. Cathode and anode actives, conductive additives, binders and solid-state electrolytes all behave as powders long before they behave as electrodes, and that behaviour decides what happens in feeding, mixing, coating and calendering.

Stéphane Caubergh will be on booth 6235 throughout the show, with three instruments running live.

GranuDrum - flowability and cohesion under dynamic conditions

Powder that flows well in a hopper does not necessarily behave well in a continuous process. The GranuDrum measures the cohesive index and flowing angle across a range of rotating speeds, closer to what a material actually experiences on a line. The method is described in ASTM D8648-25, Standard Test Method for Determining Flowability Using GranuDrum.

GranuPack - packing dynamics and bulk density evolution

Tapped density measured by hand varies with the operator. The GranuPack automates the measurement and follows how bulk density evolves tap after tap, which says more about compaction behaviour than a single end value.

GranuCharge At Line - electrostatic charge in production

Tribocharging during handling and transport makes powder adhere to equipment, fines agglomerate, and particle size distributions drift. The GranuCharge At Line measures charge build-up directly in the production environment, where it is generated.

Meet us in Detroit

Come and watch a measurement run from start to finish, on the GranuDrum it takes a few minutes, and it is the fastest way to judge whether the data would tell you something about your own material.
