How to Improve Powder Processing: Real-Time Electrostatic Charge Measurement

Electrostatic charges naturally develop in powders during flow, often causing disruptions in industrial processes. In this presentation, Dr. Giuseppe Rosario Del Sorbo will introduce the GranuCharge At Line, a compact and portable instrument designed to monitor electrostatic charging in real time, directly at the production line. By measuring the charge per mass using a Faraday cup and integrated load cell, this tool enables fast, precise, and repeatable testing under actual process conditions. Attendees will learn how this new approach supports faster decision-making, helps identify electrostatic-related issues, and improves process reliability, without interrupting production.
