International Battery Production Conference - IBPC 2025  - November 5 - 6, 2025

Granutools will participate in the International Battery Production Conference (IBPC) from November 5 to 6, 2025, at the Steigenberger Parkhotel in Braunschweig, Germany.

Join industry leaders, researchers, and innovators from around the globe as we explore the latest advancements in battery technology. This year’s conference will feature insightful presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, all aimed at driving the future of energy storage.

Poster Presentation - How Measuring Pure PTFE Powder Flowability Depending on Temperature Can Optimize Its Handling »

Presented by Salvatore Pillitteri, Particle Scientist at Granutools

On Day 1, Granutools will present a poster contribution titled “"DCT_1.2 – How Measuring Pure PTFE Powder Flowability Depending on Temperature Can Optimize Its Handling"

This work addresses a critical challenge in dry electrode manufacturing: handling pure PTFE powder before fibrillation. Since PTFE begins to fibrillate above 19 °C (reducing its flowability) it's typically handled at lower temperatures. However, overcooling can lead to unnecessary energy costs. Using the GranuDrum, Granutools demonstrates how flowability varies with temperature and how to define the optimal handling temperature without compromising processability.

The findings highlight the importance of quantifying powder behavior to balance performance and energy efficiency in battery production.

We look forward to connecting with you in Braunschweig and contributing to the conversation on sustainable, scalable, and circular battery manufacturing.
