New research collaboration between Granutools and RUB Bochum

Granutools and RUB Bochum will explore powder flow characterization for Hybrid Additive Manufacturing

We are pleased to announce a new research collaboration between Granutools and Ruhr Universität Bochum.

Two brand new instruments, the GranuDrum and the GranuPack, have been recently installed in the laboratory of the Hybrid Additive Manufacturing (HAM), where they will be used to investigate powder flow properties under the supervision of Prof. Jan T. Sehrt and Dr. Tobias Grimm.

This research collaboration will allow to further expand the knowledge on powder characterization, with the goal of defining a workflow for HAM process optimization.
